Quartersawn oak. Detailed with inlay of ivory (reclaimed from piano keys)
abalone, boxwood, ebony, walnut, sycamore and cherry.

This table had a family history incorporated round the edges using incised lettering
and various inlay materials to denote marriages, births and genders.

The design brief also required construction so that two carvers could be slid under the
table at either end.
