Exhibited at 'The Great Divide Exhibition' The Fruitmarket, Edinburgh, 2002. The chair incorporates small pieces of printed circuit board inlaid into the decorative carving surrounding the map of Scotland (The motherboard). The analogy is between the country and its people (the compononents). The motherboard is important but the components are what count.
