PETER HALD's CHAIRS

My very first commission in 1989 (a copy of the chair on the left) has been back in my workshop undergoing a thorough refurbishment along with the original.
Both chairs have had arms strengthened with special  joints that overcome a short grain problem with the design.
10mm stainless  steel rods have been inserted in the arms of one of the chairs.

After almost 20 years traditional drop on frames with rush seating have been fitted. Rushing by Roger Ingledew - Tel:07919 406003

STRAWS IN THE WIND EXHIBITION

My exhibition of this body of work at the Flat Cat Gallery, Lauder has now ended. A chair, a sculpture and four boxes remain on display at The Flat Cat until the middle of July. Please visit the Photographs section of my Portfolio to view the photographs that make up 'Straws in the Wind'.
